Part 1 – Phonics at Lil Pallikkoodam

English being the second acquired language for all our little learners, a lot of focus is given on the language from the time they step in. Language and literacy development is interdependent and supports the child’s brain and cognitive development, as language form the foundation for all social interactions.

At Lil Pallikkoodam, our consistent effort is to build and nurture the language and literacy skills amongst our young learners by promoting a learning-friendly environment. It enables our children to make clear connections between literacy and language, including vocabulary, written language, comprehension, phonological awareness, fluency and auditory discrimination.
